Hanging around like a rose

Irresistible temptress

birds dance in the trees
teaching us how to gossip
shit on everyone
fears dissolve into the wine
leaving gossip for the birds

a perfect night sky
watching the coming Eclipse
a wish to see Mum
we stand under the same sky
far apart, yet together

grey sky, falling leaves
rain swept sentimental day
grey thoughts remain still
listening to the winding
additional cup for you

Fall intensifies
Watching and scrolling all day
Forgotten website
A big blue button says, “Press”.
A laughing Jeanie appears.

a longing for home
we return to our childhood
rose coloured glasses
artificial memories
a longing for something else

light rain starts and stops
to hear the heavy rainfall
distant memory
many cursed the rainy days
the cost of our ignorance

only nature moves
the segmentation of time
whispering your lie
you try to create more time
cheating yourself out of life

cats meow in unison
an endless hunger
