A tree stood near our fence; we knew not what it was.
Winter came, then went, as Spring started anew.
The tree grew buds, which bloomed into flowers, as the
cherry blossoms moved and danced for us in that Spring.

Wild Rain
I wrote this one yesterday.
We have experienced Winter in Spring.
It’s lovely, as the rain is everywhere at the moment, yet the thought of Summer makes me wish for more rain and cold weather.
A rain cloud kind of wild day
Petrichor blew away by the wind
The wild rain calling outside
Placing my empty porcelain cup
The inside smells cannot win
Walking outside to feel the wild rain
Jasmine
The Scent of Jasmine,
sweet, delicate Gardenia;
falling springtime snow.
Magnolia Melody
Soft pink petals
budding, ready to bloom
against the soft grey sky.
Droplets, dance, splash
and cling to the petals
of a new budding bloom.
Soft sounds whisper
a song of endings and
beginnings, as buds bloom.
