An endless hallway,
masking a silent scream.
Running to the end,
moving so very, very slow.
A line of sunlight,
the walls are moving alive.
Walking into the sun,
feeling the springtime bloom.
Thinking all is swell,
looking around the hall as
they cast shadows on the wall.
Frozen solid; Frightened by fear.
Clutching the bear, courage and curiosity take hold as she peers down the hallway.
In the darkness, something moves. A silent scream pierces the night.
She stands frozen solid with fear until Daddy scoops her into his arms and gives her a big hug.
