Bursting flowers
Moving in waves across the field
Colours of blossoming spring dance
Sunshine brighter than the light

Between Winter & Spring

I longed for the frost
yet the warmth of Spring arrived
Letting go, shedding

The coming of Spring
dreaming of delicious food

Blooming Reverie

13/04/202417/08/2025 C and K Words2 Comments

A warm breeze moves through
the garden and the blooming trees.

Hair becomes waves of the sea,
cloth caressing skin becomes caged wings.

A Crow visits her favourite tree
with a plastic milk bottle lid for kindness.

Lost within the romance of Spring,
drifting away.

Constant Winter

10/12/202305/12/2023 C and K WordsLeave a comment

Leaves of green etched into a black canvas,
white flowers mixed in for the forest spirit
and a sprinkling of snow upon the old trees.

If only those mythical flowers were real,
how they would frolic wickedly in the sun.

It’s over now, and the end passed me by;
never to feel Spring petals on my ice skin.

SPRING SCENTS

between heaven and earth
the colours of energy are vibrating

hallucinating Springtime
scents of Jasmine and green

nature is a mixed mess
wobbling and rolling in the grass

calling to the elements
ending up naked in the river alone

The Coming Spring

11/10/202320/08/2023 C and K WordsLeave a comment

Spring lays waste to winter,
for the sun shines once again.
Blossoms bud, bloom, and blow about, yet we feel a chill again.
We are immersed in the season as we consider the times to come.

Snow Blooms

Blooms that hid under the snow
now grow brightly free for spring.

Spring knows of blooming buds;
do you remember flowers?

Blossoming buds rise again
to melt your icy bleak heart.

Winter has found us
Autumn took a vacation
for a hint of Spring
A wind moves from off the snow
Hygge weekends with you and books
