Forest Spirit

A Forest Spirit
Softly moving through the snow
No words left to say

Run Away with me
Dance on a cloud, touch the stars
On the moon, we sit

Nothing left to lose,
except for memories of
love and Petrichor.

Humble soft padding.
Hurt, a wolf in sheep’s clothing;
misunderstood wolf.

Our hearts are locked in
quarantine as we learn to
live without our love.

Clouds of fresh grey days
A heated house feels too hot
Rain music playing

Walking to forget
the way skin felt like the sun.
Mornings without her.

Never the loser,
you play to win every time;
you lost your love’s heart.

A wild punk rocker,
rage and riot in the house,
solitude rebel.

Under the starlight,
you beg the full moon to save
the Earth from the sea.
