We sit quietly
waiting for the New Year chime
with a sense of hope
strong and courageous
take whatever is dished out
marshmallow inside
Two Haiku: A Weekend Away
longing for something
you keep feeling everything
knowing of nothing
missing your essence
longing to see you again
keep thinking the worst
Insufferable
Longing for the stormy sea
Green hills surround me
From one to many
Grey hairs are multiplying
without permission
nature’s cute carpet
standing in the numbing cold
a winterish night
Another book waits
A few already devoured
My books sit watching
Fallen leaves gathered
We decorate our clothing
Wearing the season
I bid you Adieu
See you when the sunset ends
Speaking to the stars
A Forest Spirit
Softly moving through the snow
No words left to say
