Summer’s Secret shrine
Sailing on the sea slowly
Sun setting sunshine

The touch of snow,
courage where once there was a desire to be unseen.
Despite their warnings,
a desire stronger than the old trees takes hold.
Walking towards the trees,
whispering from the dark and the light of your being.
Something otherworldly,
a name forms upon your lips as you fall: “Freya”.
Ages of sorrow and happiness within
this ancient place of stone and metal.
Standing in a wistful frame of mind
as the feelings move through my heart.
Some metal bars are for protection,
while others imprison the body.
Some metal bars imprison our mind;
wisdom can be found in odd places.

all hope seemed lost
a meow from the rubble
a defiant paw
playful eyes
pink blushy cheeks
frolicking around you
fluttering those big eyes
Is she a kitten or a cat?
Perhaps she is both.
fierce and kind
fiery and kinky
pretty beautiful one
flowing through my life
The summer winds sing
of scented night vision scenes
shimmering softly.

A summer dress in winter Sometimes green, sometimes black; never brown or orange. Unconventional stockings A contrast of colours that stands out; offensive to the conservatives. Elegant and controlled Walking in every nature season; odd looks fail to offend. A daydream within a dream Falling madly in love with the park bench; continuing the journey.
The sea says farewell to the shore often;
yet I’m not as strong as the sea;
I don’t want to keep saying goodbye to you.
Stay.

A voyage upon
self-explorative waters
to find new wings.
Self-rewarding has gone
to be replaced by
a sense of spiritual calm.
Button nosed bunny,
demurely sitting and waiting
until a human spots the cute one.
Once bewitched,
coloured eyes dance playfully
to ensnare prey in her fluffy web.
