Pipeline Dream

pipeline dream of translucence
pursuing life and loving living
pleasing streams of ice blue
pleasure in riding a high tide

To Soar

23/07/202203/07/2022 C and K WordsLeave a comment

the fire of Earth burns red bright to its core
free of hate with a heart of light, she soars

a heart full of hope and a mind sparked by an inner fire
she sets a course for success and love from her wildfire

The Bay

22/07/202203/07/2022 C and K WordsLeave a comment

lapping water at the edge under a green swept tree
little boat comes to the shore to rest and just to be

a placid spot to sit and watch the world go by us today
a peaceful day with ghosts to play in nature’s serene bay

Her Love

21/07/202203/07/2022 C and K WordsLeave a comment

her heart beats wildly for you,
yet you do not appreciate her treasure

she wanders through landscapes of grey and hurt all day,
yet she always comes back to you

even when her heart beats from red to blue,
she will always love you

remember to cherish her love

Sea Horse

20/07/202203/07/2022 C and K WordsLeave a comment

aristocratic horsey glows so brightly,
greens and golds flare wild at night

naughty show off, you will always be
dancing and bubbling about the sea

sea horse of joy and light
you are such a lovely sight

Lockdown Frenzy

19/07/202203/07/2022 C and K WordsLeave a comment

In a frenzy, they run and jump wildly;
The mania of the many has set in.

Toilet paper tantrums line aisle seven;
Milk splashing dominates the fridges.

Nothing remains for the few sane ones;
Starving from the mob’s unkindness.

Moon & Sea

18/07/202203/07/2022 C and K WordsLeave a comment

No air to tell of love and loss,
alone within your space.

Bathypelagic Sand Dollar of the stars,
you seem so diffident.

Calm and round,
you turn tides on or help a heart’s loss.

Oceans look upward,
as your face so bright lights up the night.

Quarantined on St Patrick’s Day

17/07/202203/07/2022 C and K WordsLeave a comment

Quarantined on St Patrick’s Day,
Shenanigans, for one, will have to do.

Donning green and black Brogues ironically,
he whips out cheese and crackers just in case.

With a Shillelagh for the spirit of courage,
he dances alone to Celtic forest music.

Softly through the Sea

16/07/202203/07/2022 C and K WordsLeave a comment

Softly,
through a sea so warm moves a creature alone.

Brightly,
light from within attracts friends and foes.

Radiant
within the water, so salty sweet box jellyfish moves to emanate colour and grace.

A Warm Night

15/07/202203/07/2022 C and K WordsLeave a comment

In a trance,
under the movement spell.

Limbs of fire,
elongated shimmy swishing.

Sultry moves,
burning into the warm night.
