In Life, In Death

05/05/202526/09/2025 C and K WordsLeave a comment

in life, you sit alone
acquaintances, two friends
tears of loneliness

in death, crowds mourn
a moving elegy from whom?
fighting over caviar

only nature moves
the segmentation of time
whispering your lie
you try to create more time
cheating yourself out of life

Between Dreams

I called to you,
timid at first and then hoarse from the echoes.

I thought you had gone.

I found myself calling to you from our bedroom,
and you looked haunted.

“A dream”, I said from a dream,
“A dream without you in the nothingness of life.”

Life

Standing outside, you start to feel the atmosphere calm you.
Life seems hopeless in this moment of turmoil and anger at small things.
You look at the garden, which could be dead.
Then you start thinking about plants that will grow soon.
They never give up, so neither will you.

You moved me to think
Yesterday I was consumed
by shiny trinkets
Today I think about things
I question the news, my life

Beautiful Ghost

An ethereal
whisper of a welcomed ghost
haunt me in life, death

Birth, not life

so many shapes move
dark sets into the night

she’s no longer herself
light of those eyes dies

suffering seizes control
starlight begins to fade

she gave birth, but not life
darkness took all the light
