blur of the morning
too much sun in my old eyes
the crisp spring winds move

Botanic Garden
imperfect roses
scrutiny and muffled sighs
Refund our money
The Bellwether
forgotten in hues
the bellwether of no one
talking to the sea
Night, Day
the calming darkness
a vigil to the moon, night
rebelling the day
His Garden
within his garden
the many malformed flowers
so interesting
Early Spring
Hoping for the rain
Saying goodbye to Winter
Sneezes replace speech
Bird Watching
a tempting solace
watching the way the birds dance
in the backyard grass
Pre-Friday Fog Thoughts
Forgotten in Fog
Feeling the weight of your world
Floating towards sky
NOTES
A pre-Friday workday, car-sitting, fog-enshrouded haiku.
Some days I sit in my car and wonder what the fuck I’m doing with my life, and then I realise I need to work.
The weight of it all lifts when I drown in the largest coffee I can find.
All is well until it is not. I keep placing one foot in front of the other.
Fireflies
lights in the darkness
their wings illuminated
little fireflies dance
Quirky Cat
within the moonlight
to laugh at her quirkiness
a fluff in the dark
