We look towards the horizon without saying a word;
you, and I know we are beyond those words.
Yet we dream, we laugh, and we think of one word;
we look, we think, and we say love’s word.

We look towards the horizon without saying a word;
you, and I know we are beyond those words.
Yet we dream, we laugh, and we think of one word;
we look, we think, and we say love’s word.

Almost part of the sky,
as the embrace of solace eases the sadness.
You will be sitting at home reading or playing a game,
yet you’re not now.
Now you’re just ash,
and I am now alone.

I often lament the endings.
Crying on the couch about missing you.
What would happen if you died and I lived?
What would happen if I died and you lived?
The last glimpse of you is like the sea;
I’m always longing to be close to you again.

the flowers of a heart are so true
she holds them close just for you
this love is brown and wild blue,
so unabashed in her love for you

Through misty rain,
in the grey light of day,
I see you clearly.
The rugged old landscape,
I ran across the moor
to see my love once more.
Again, I run across the moor.
The rugged rocky landscape,
called me to run once more.
I run along,
I run along once more,
To see my love along the moor.
My love for you is brave,
for I’ve loved you for so long.
I’ve loved you for so long,
I’ve loved you for so long.
My love for you will save
all your troubles with a song.
A pocketful of promises,
given without proper thought.
All promises were now broken,
glowing sadly in the darkness.
Another love’s life touched;
Another hurt, grief-stricken heart.
A quick cheeky wink
Hoping for love’s first nibble
A quick side-eye glance
Discovering a partner
Feeling sorry for yourself
The rain begins to fall. The cold wind moves through your hair as you watch the person you love descend into the soil.
The raindrops roll down your pale face as you hear a song you both loved.
No longer visible, the wind blows as the music comes to an end and you walk away.
