Remember that place?
A faded wish we made long
ago in the fog.

Fall
If I fall as the leaves fall in autumn,
come find me and tell me about your day.
If I fall like the disintegrating glaciers,
come find me and tell me it will be okay.
If you fall when you can’t take no more,
I’ll always come find you and save your day.
Haiku: Cold Winds
calm relaxation,
cold winds whisper through the house,
clouds of grey gather.
Lucky Clover

A fine suit of wool,
and
soft shoes for dancing.
A carnation in your pocket,
and
A green clover down your boxers.
A lopsided smile,
and
An odd loving heart.
A sensual touch,
and
A promise of more.
A giggle and a look,
the lucky green clover.
Haiku: Final Project
The final project.
Gathering all the dead leaves,
watch them on the wind.
I am Fine
When the walls close in, I am fine.
When the life I wanted passes me by, I am fine.
When the days burn long, and I wish for cold weather, I am fine.
When I don’t get to see my loved ones for years, I am fine.
When I look back at what could have been, I am fine.
When you say you don’t care about family as I care about family, I am fine.
When I see my life moving along and not always improving, I am fine.
When we fight over petty shit, and I think back to 20 years ago, I am fine.
When I lie to myself about it all, I am not fine.
When I acknowledge the lies and leave all my regrets behind, now I am fine.
Haiku: Soft Heart
To wish for a love
Someone kind to a soft heart
I talk to the trees
Sunlit Gardenias
Very beautiful
The sunlit Gardenias
blossoming warm snow
Very beautiful
The sunlit Gardenias
Blooming for our love
Bitter Night

Dewdrops to some, sweat beads to others; this is her reality.
Dreams and visions of depravity, horror, and the current, past, and future human perspectives flood her mind.
Dripping and soggy in the atrocities of her fellow human beings, the seer sees what others do not want to see.
Dreaming through the bitter night, to be restored and tired in the morning; a lofty price paid to see what others cannot see
Daylight doesn’t stop the lingering images of what has or may come, yet who is a seer to change what cannot be undone?
Decurro journey through a difficult test, watching the world fall apart and remaining grateful, kind, and courageous.
Tanka: Desert Sand
The hot desert sand.
Walking upon the sand of
countless burning rays.
The hot desert day turns to
night, as we worship the stars.
