between your ego and my eyes
within a touch so randomly lit
outside of our love in the woods
within a kiss or a cuddly time
inside our hearts, which beat fast
within this silk thread that binds
Between the reds, we find love

Daybreak
Daybreak melancholy,
a touch of joy and sadness;
it touches the places only a cold Winters’ day can understand.
Daybreak melancholy may eclipse some,
yet it is beautiful in the way it lingers for too long;
it moves the cold wind through my clothes as I watch the birds.
White Lines
Chasing the white lines,
on a road that’ll never end.
Speeding along impatiently
for the end, not the journey.
Madness sets in,
lost perspective.
Ripped clean from this thinking
by the horror of your car crash.

The Turning
The turning began
summer left us on our own
Shedding no sad tears
as grey turns to silver snow
Melting slow on our faces
The Perfect Image
Staring at the sky
Your heart feeds your mind an impassioned reel of memories
Seeing the colours
You are impatient to take the
perfect picture for the likes
Sorrowful clicking
You aspire to take an impossible
image of your complex feelings

Moon & You
You look to the moon,
The moon looks to you,
In reflections of beauty
Moon Night
Moon rays
move from
brittle light,
so bright,
to teal,
to black.
Illuminating the
clear night,
so bright,
full of light,
tonight.

Amateur Pagans
Frolicking in the forest,
for today is all we have to live.
Deep nature chanting,
spirits of the trees fall as leaves.
An owl hoots laughter,
the ladies choose no offences.
Feelings of the forest,
they leave, and all that remains
are our unkempt buns.
At the Lighthouse
The sky is above,
and the sea is below.
Between the two sits a lighthouse, or is it just a pier?
Colours swirl, yet all is quiet at the lighthouse.
If you exist, I will come
and whisper about worlds not yet created.
We will laugh
and
cry with the sea.

Soul Clouds
I stand alone as
Clouds move across the shy sky
thinking of the way
The forest is like your soul
when the snow falls on me slowly
