A favourite dress
jealous friend splashed paint about
A little ruined

From Afar

17/10/202321/08/2023 C and K WordsLeave a comment

You were a significant part of their world
then, you went into vanishment, obscurity

You were too late for a sad sideward glance
a last look from afar to remember that body

Blurry Sunflowers

The season changes
ice winds whistle loudly through
the power lines, trees
the sunlight plays a subtle
song through the dying flowers

Sakura

Sakura creeps to
find a friend in the warm sun
and in the spring blue

THE BEGINNING

The vanishment;
noisy, crowded streets become quiet.

Alone, I can hear the sea wind songs;
listening to the sea.

The voice of Odin calls from afar,
or is it Poseidon?

The force of ancient strings prickles the skin;
visions of forests and wolves.

The streets fill up once more, and
the water from the grey clouds
buckets down to cause chaos.

The beginning of a journey.
You are standing there
waiting for me, yet
we have never met before.

Ending & Longing

13/10/202321/08/2023 C and K WordsLeave a comment

a place of tranquillity
a longing for colour

the sea and wind sing
the birds join the song

those pinks and blues
those lights at sunset

fills a heart made of glass
fills your heart-shaped glass

a desirable ending
a desirable longing

SPRING SCENTS

between heaven and earth
the colours of energy are vibrating

hallucinating Springtime
scents of Jasmine and green

nature is a mixed mess
wobbling and rolling in the grass

calling to the elements
ending up naked in the river alone

The Coming Spring

11/10/202320/08/2023 C and K WordsLeave a comment

Spring lays waste to winter,
for the sun shines once again.
Blossoms bud, bloom, and blow about, yet we feel a chill again.
We are immersed in the season as we consider the times to come.

India Vibes

10/10/202302/06/2024 C and K WordsLeave a comment

Swirling colourful cloth,
the scent of sandalwood and the streets.

Bangles move to the drums,
almost touching, and the dance gathers emotion.

Daydreaming you’re a star,
Bollywood feels like floating on a fame cloud.

Wailing, you are my Jaanu!
Strange looks from people passing by.

the moody sky broods
for the clouds are full of rain,
a brewing storm comes
