grey moves in to darken the sky
the atmosphere changes inside
rain moves on the house windows
meandering water stops my mind
fresh rain smells calm a hot heart
rain dots the wooden window sills
standing and forgetting the sorrow
grasping the raindrops falling soft
downtrodden man of strength
leading the way into the light
does he do everything by a star,
or is he full of distant starlight?
wavelets of change lap at the shore
slowly, slowly, they grow
now waves smash at the shore
A protagonist of hope in this world
her eyes
are full of
starlight,
set
amongst
the grey.
blood drips from the knife
such beautiful winter graces
she stands in the sea of pines
a silent face within the snow
dripping red on to white
a Merlot, or is it a Shiraz?
he will never know love’s taste
stabbed to death in the snow
moonlight and starlight
so much light tonight
mysterious feelings bright

darkness is close
moonlight shows her face
she waits for the one to arrive
death may come too soon
the knife is close
death awaits
it is done
I’m falling in love with you.
You’re a drug to me, yet it’s my hands round your neck you love.
Wild tormented girl, you’ve taken my heart.
We drive down the coast, waiting for the world to end.
It might, tonight.
Serious;
yet when you
say, “Hello“,
I take the piss.
shallow water
shells,
sand,
and
sea
creatures are exposed
as we play
