Tanka: Springtime in Autumn
Springtime in Autumn.
Buds bloom, and flowers blossom
confused by the warmth.
An owl watches and ponders,
a pause to see the flowers.

Haiku: Autumn
A great sadness ends
looking towards the grey sky
feeling Autumn turn
Haiku: Aging
We are not perfect
ageing considered ugly
refusing to care
Haiku: Shell
Echoes from the sea
a shell from long, long ago
longing for the sea
Becoming a Song
Exhaustion.
Flicking in and out of consciousness,
my lips feel numb.
Usual noises sound bombing loud,
forgetting the time.
I become a melancholy masterpiece,
a sad classical song.
Haiku: A Long Night
A long storm rages
the sea whips about wildly
a long night ahead
Come Alone
Come to me,
leave everything you love alone.
Be with me;
give up your humanity for me.
Live with me;
love me more than you love them.
Come alone;
with one bite, I will free you from
humanity’s snare and guide you
into the shadows and the dark.
Haiku: Sorrow
A dream unfulfilled
sailing along narrow fjords
too poor in sorrow
