feeling minuscule
ignored by the loud giants
moving wild splashed wings
dancing in melted ice cream
the ladybug has a laugh

Mellow
old school and mellow
summertime sadness feelings
in white lace getup

Her Garden
Plush flowers of her bloom in her garden
Purple and indigo shades move in the air
Birds chirp and talk of Amore and kisses
Bees buzz and race to find the best buds
Swiftly dancing to a tune of uplifting sorrows
Sweetly moving in time to the sway of flowers
Awakening Spring
grey days blossoming
flowers awakening Spring
a Winter lament

Wishing
Beautifully broken souls,
beating hearts of the night.
Spirits begin to rise and fall,
the Souls burn blue so bright.
Within the midnight calm,
Forgetting in moonlight quiet.
We cherish the moonlit night,
wishing for love and kindness.
The Last Vine
Your heartstrings knot
for what is left and gone.
In nature, you find peace,
yet the places disappear.
Your helpless hands write
a note to the ones so dear.
With only a bird to love you,
you ponder the tired clouds.
Your pen, who will we become
when the last vine dies?

A Feeling
Wishing for something more
willing this feeling to depart
Even the moon laughs soft
every star seems so light
Wishful thinking takes hold
warping time’s despair
Soft Day
The amber sun shines
over the still calm water
A perfect soft day

Baked Ham Chips
My heavy heart!
Good intentions were forgotten, for the chippy packet crinkled.
Oh, heavy heart, the baked ham chips empty into a mystical place.
How did the chip packet cease to contain sweet, salty baked potato crispies?
Feeling the Tyre around my waist, I am unsure how those chips came to be inside.
A morose mood takes hold; I’m haunted by the sweet and salty taste on my lips.
Coffee Mushrooms
A mushroom begins life,
and many more soon fuel my optimistic mind;
all I need is a friend to help.
Preparing for my shady friend so we can laugh,
yet wondering if all will be well;
Mr J. arrives with a smile and passion fruit cake.
A turn for the worst when he lights up a cap,
then runs towards the hills hoist;
I didn’t know he was so well-versed in ballet.
Smoke from the backyard carries,
then sounds from the neighbours cause alarm;
they must be magic mushrooms.
A fit of anxiety, or is it the smoke?
Such beautiful ballet from with Mr J’s smoke;
I decide to boil the kettle.
