Alone from afar
A voice like a reminder
A song from afar
Sea sounds sing a song
for the sorrows faced this year,
a susurrus song.
A warm Summer breeze
ocean waves moving slowly
considering things
The sea is always
calling to my heart to swim
in her wild waters.
You sit in the light
as streaks of faded colours
move into the night.
Goose flesh from the strings
The notes gather momentum
Motion in the sea
If sleep came knocking
I would still sit by the sea
Lost in coral dreams
Burning red sunset
paints the sea with soft colours,
as the moon arrives.
