A meeting
Anticipation starts to grip tightly
Pacing about
Some say we’re all destined for one
It’s awkward
Then they meet in the city of light
Instant love

In Love
a deepness,
longing endlessness,
a depth of madness,
a darkness,
from much sadness,
a lightness,
innamorato brightness.

Endured
From the blue;
Grey tears fall
down, onto
straightforward skin.
The sweetest agony must be
endured
and
endured
for uncomplicated love.
Pink Roses
Her mind was calm until she saw the pink roses. With help, she starts dissolving; dissolving and running into puddles. She can't stop the ache, which clouds her mind and makes the pink roses blurry. There is only one cure; only the trees bear witness now.

Quarrel Clouds
Grey-blue clouds cannot decide if it will rain or shine,
so the sky appears to be confused in disorder.
Threatening to rain or change their minds again,
the low clouds complain about the high clouds,
and the high clouds complain about the low clouds.
Grey-blue clouds test our patience as they quarrel
and procrastinate about what to do tonight.
Couch Thoughts
Bubbling cauldron,
thoughts so clear,
I feel inspiration,
so very near
on the couch.

Between the Reds
between your ego and my eyes
within a touch so randomly lit
outside of our love in the woods
within a kiss or a cuddly time
inside our hearts, which beat fast
within this silk thread that binds
Between the reds, we find love
Daybreak
Daybreak melancholy,
a touch of joy and sadness;
it touches the places only a cold Winters’ day can understand.
Daybreak melancholy may eclipse some,
yet it is beautiful in the way it lingers for too long;
it moves the cold wind through my clothes as I watch the birds.
White Lines
Chasing the white lines,
on a road that’ll never end.
Speeding along impatiently
for the end, not the journey.
Madness sets in,
lost perspective.
Ripped clean from this thinking
by the horror of your car crash.

The Turning
The turning began
summer left us on our own
Shedding no sad tears
as grey turns to silver snow
Melting slow on our faces
