Dancing sunlight on your hair,
the smell of sandalwood in the air,
I swear, standing there, that there
is no one more beautiful or fair
as you, my love, standing there.

Something Sweet
Winter’s twilight.
Oh, grey and dull work day,
go away and leave the rest of today,
for I wish for somethin’ strong and sweet!
Childhood memories of creaming
soda soft drinks and sugary spiders.
No longer a child, yet naughty feelings
set in with the grey as I drink my stout.

Be My, Be Mine
Be my companion
Look to me as your lighthouse
through good times and bad
Be mine until our ship sails
from the shell-covered sea shore
The Call of the Sea
Another transient weekend
replaced too soon by the
jealous work week.
Barely rested from last week,
the new work week takes
away our day at the sea.
The sounds of the old waves
moving towards the shore,
enticing us quit our jobs and
flee the neverending cycle.
Friday
A Friday sick day
Whispering deep grey today
Wishing for my bae
My Old Circuit
I’ll take you away,
take you down my old circuit,
show you my old life.
No need to feel sorry for
a non-existent childhood.
No Coffee
A single tear falls
Watching the frost on the grass
Seeing a bunny
Lamenting what could have been
if there was coffee to drink
With or Without You
With you without solitude, I dream of living alone in a secluded Winter forest house with animals and spirits to keep me company.
Without you in solitude, I dream of living with you in a house full of laughter with the Spring sun moving on the table.
Longing with or without you.
A Knot
A knot to bind us
tie a knot around our hands
together forever
On the Bus
A pronounced visceral feeling
dark clouds on the horizon
An ominous sign in the clouds
tension and a sense of loss
A sense of injustice angers you
telltale signs of an empath
An internal crisis on the bus
