Haiku: My Afternoon

my puffy ankles
stiff in the humidity
yet I keep sitting

waking up anew
realisation makes you
feel like shit: workday

Me, a troublous soul.
Sitting up too late at night,
Hiding in my home.

We buy violets
to place on the window sill,
to be just like Mum.

Slumped over the desk,
creeping fatigue lingers,
and haunts poetry days.

A broken teapot
Hidden in the dirt and grass
A hidden flower

A warped view of life

Hidden illumination

Unseen flowers bloom

Simplified as Shades,

Complexities of Colours,

Oppressed by the Shades.

Sea sounds sing a song
for the sorrows faced this year,
a susurrus song.

A warm Summer breeze
