in life, you sit alone
acquaintances, two friends
tears of loneliness
in death, crowds mourn
a moving elegy from whom?
fighting over caviar

in life, you sit alone
acquaintances, two friends
tears of loneliness
in death, crowds mourn
a moving elegy from whom?
fighting over caviar
a bee sits on the tip of a black hat
The hat sits on the head of a person
and the person is considered selcouth
a bee has nothing to do with the hat
The hat isn’t connected to the person
and yet the person remains unique, odd
the grip of it all
she felt the rush of blood
blurring the spaces
disintegrating dreams
the burn of karma
grey sky, falling leaves
rain swept sentimental day
grey thoughts remain still
listening to the winding
additional cup for you
the days grow shorter
we’ll be there on the weekend
free to dream our dreams
from sunrise to sunset
they painstakingly mapped out a plan
the event would be perfect
for five to seven hours
weeks on end of planning and pondering
losing sleep and grey hairs
from beginning to end
life taught you many lessons about perfection
the plan was no more
light rain starts and stops
to hear the heavy rainfall
distant memory
many cursed the rainy days
the cost of our ignorance
Looking for you in every grain of sand
I found you by the shade of an Olive Tree
Screaming your name towards heaven
You cannot be found amongst the bombs
Listening to the sound of the seashore
We were married to the smell of our roses
Crying over what remains of your body
I lost you by the remains of an Olive Tree
the song of the wine glass
forgetting why you exist
lost to the red swirling
finishing your sentences
while no one is looking
pouring another half-glass
living in the present
the song about forgetting
the contrast in the sky
grey clouds touch the soft lemon,
in the distance, fire becomes mauve
a day to celebrate life
chocolate eggs, meeting with family
in sombre contemplation for the dead
the voices of the dead
they echo from the wars and genocides
calling for an end to the horrors every day
the contrasting sky changes
grey clouds meet lemon and yellow hues
a peaceful transition to a slow autumn night
