longing for Winter
living in the matrix of
Summer and the heat

Three Versions
in the morning fog,
in my morning brain fog,
I sit at a cafe table.
I am eager to type words,
a lil photo of a coffee,
whimsical free Facey post.
Unintended consequences,
uneducated, she thinks,
asking about my comments.
a reactive grumble brews,
a desire to comment,
seeking clarity, edit the post.

Bee | Nectar
Honey Bee Buzzing
Hanging around like a rose
High on her nectar
Immunity to her sting
Irresistible temptress
Train
moving towards you
riding soporific waves
guided by the moon
Forgetting
dreaming of a fictional scenario
images of a socially acceptable version of myself
devouring the escapist feelings
living within a society obsessed with fame, wealth, privilege
grey hair, wrinkles, and my ideas
losing the ones who thought I was a robot, someone else
missing the signs of your love
fears dissolve into nothingness as you step towards me
forgetting society and myself
Gossip Birds
birds dance in the trees
teaching us how to gossip
shit on everyone
fears dissolve into the wine
leaving gossip for the birds
Hiraeth
from chair, to keyboard, and back again
relaxation, words, music and overthinking
between the monitor and the bookcase
flowing Hiraeth for my sister and her hugs
whole – parted – sutured
whole.
love split open
emotions, stardust, and the odd hair
flowing outward
parted.
feeling everything
dark clouds and the unintended rainbow
flooding rivers
sutured.
forgetting the pain
teardrops mixed with paint, dust, and rain
love in the mirror
Sweet Wilderness
sweeping windy night
a trace of the wilderness
sipping something sweet
In Life, In Death
in life, you sit alone
acquaintances, two friends
tears of loneliness
in death, crowds mourn
a moving elegy from whom?
fighting over caviar
