A Saltwater Love
All or nothing was the lesson;
a love rush blinded my equilibrium
You said to wait a while for love.
So many tides move, and the sea
whispers of the past and the future.
I learnt my lesson with your love.
Yet, the never ending wonder,
will you return to me?
Standing on the sand alone,
the sea whispers new words today.
A kiss on the cheek,
you’re lucky I’m so old;
becoming saltwater with you.
Favourite Tree
You cried on the inside
when they cut your childhood
tree down for the fire.
You met her in nature,
a beautiful tree, you thought,
swaying in the forest.
Then you drew her in
charcoal on fine parchment,
for everything about her
was your favourite tree.
a sun melody
different leaf shades
moody trees
dancing leaves
different dying shades
winter kisses
a strong gust
reds, yellows, and Olivine
playful trees
a bird song
rubbish moving in the wind
winter hugs
From a forgotten forest
at first, a whisper of wolves
and longing for the sea
Taken from the office
transported to a world of snow
and a tyrannical sheep
Staring at the Timberwolf walls
the wolves howl for you to save the pack
and be a dragon once more
Bordeaux Kiss
Summer heat
the sea and the sand
something
sweet to eat
while watching the world
and dreaming
of those lips
a Bordeaux watermelon
laced kiss
with strawberry
and cream hues of winter
about those hips
Umber Dance
forbidden fruit
sinful dancing
hips moving
exotic music
azure sky
ochre sun
umber dress
closer now
red hair falling
warm air moving
many bangles
eyes of green
moving to the music
the Emperor’s kiss
naughty sweet cupid
shooting off love filled arrows
hitting all the cats
A Sign
This life I built
is falling away
from me today
Another disappointment
What does the universe want?
Why am I here?
I look to the clear heavens
blue is only an illusion
as is my desire for success
to give up seems like defeat
yet the battle is not mine to win
unless it is the battle for me
a sign would be comforting
the universe works in mysterious ways
a bird narrowly misses shitting on me
not all is lost under the turning grey
as the rain begins to fall
and the beginning and the end meet
A Pack of Two
Forest deep
darkness setting in
tree whispers
A pack of wolves
moving towards the moon
full moon howling
You and I
becoming the story
in the forest
All the light
that you bring to my life
this meaningless life
With you, life is a journey
this pack of two
a kiss for my wolf princess
another afternoon party
the eternal romantic
lost in the champagne bubbles
conversation with the usual crowd
a scent lingers as you feel the sun
a door unlocked in your heart
the knowledge of a destiny
Coral cheeks give you away
the ground falls from under your feet
lost in the eyes of your best friend’s cat
