A humanist dream,
thoughts best kept to myself in
this aggressive world.

Together Soon
Maybe you will meet me there,
I might wait for you,
or we might come together.
Some say only time will tell,
others say we are fools,
everyone has their opinion.
Maybe fate is a cruel one,
you may lose hope,
I might gain a different view.
We say to one another
just a little longer, love;
we’ll be together soon.
The World & The Unseen
Rising at the crack of dawn,
jogging around the same route,
eating the same breakfast,
climbing the corporate ladder.
Dreaming away until midday,
walking at night in the darkness,
eating a different breakfast,
ceasing to be defined by career.
You are an Early Riser,
and I am a Night Owl,
You want the World,
and I want the Unseen.
Haiku: Care
Picking up plastic
water bottles by the sea.
So many don’t care.
Very Short Story: Examination
Dressed in simple cotton robes, six gathered around the point of examination.
They hesitated. All were too afraid to touch such a foreign-looking living thing.
Braver than the others, one touched a branch a thumb. All followed, touching the last two trees.
Haiku: Fruit Loaf
You baked the best bread,
imaginary fruit loaf
when we were so poor.
Willingly Lost
You swept
me away,
out to sea,
willingly lost.
Peach and Pineberry
Bare branches begin
to grow as the sunshine turns
Winter into Spring.
Rolling down the scented hills
of peach and pineberry.
Haiku: Revenge
I wanted revenge,
thoughts of death and destruction.
Withering away.
Haiku: Stargazing
Stargazing alone,
once your world becomes quiet,
you talk to the cows.
