Unconstrained freedom
The promise of my Springtime,
yet Winter lingers
The pen moves to my music
I hear the sea calling me

a necessity
vocabulary becomes
limited necessity
unfamiliar words become
a punishable thought crime

whispers of the trees
with every beat of the drum
gooseflesh on our skin
we dance around the bonfire
with the rhythm of the spirits

The coming of Spring
dreaming of delicious food
Awaiting Peaches
a fusion for the taste buds
Naughty Peach thoughts are blooming

Lava meets the sea
watching the way nature moves
Feeling flesh and blood
from the distance, Aloha
hiding behind the bushes

Salmon are rushing
a frenzie of paws and tails
The bear knows the taste
confused animosity
The salmon misses her paw

Walking with the trees
Majestic redwoods hover
hiding their feelings
Shy at first, one starts talking
wisdom from the ancient ones

Sounds in the office
our leader points to a graph
Reverie of sound
Out there feeling the raindrops
Listening to the whispers

We sealed the deal with

gems in exchange for freedom

invisible chains

worshipped, adored, and famous

the soul cries out for freedom

Clouds are gathering
the captain waits for no one
giant angry waves
the crew prepare for the worst
waltz of the sea and the ship
