Walking the Streets of Melbourne town.
The nanny trolley proudly wheels behind you,
so that you can transport the essentials.
Wallet, Perfume, cosmetics (just in case),
umbrella, poncho, slippers, hand sanitiser,
a selection of snacks, and a mobile phone.
People think you are daft.
Strangers look at your sweet wheely transport,
until unexpected rain arrives.
The summer sun shines
singing of the joy to come
within the new year

The trees whizz by us
as we travel along the
cold endless train tracks
We are passengers
on a journey within a
flying metal tin
The way we wonder
at the foreign scenery
yet, long to be home
The sound of the sea
leaving the window open
The sea calls me home
a Struggle to find sound sleep
The longing to remain close
In the small windows
we choose to survive today
Loving the small things
a rush of cool air
Opening up the window
I can hear the sea
the clear southern sky
watching the star shooting away
whispering a wish
watching the puddles
rain falls upon my regret
whispering music
a vision of blue
I recall the waves crashing.
the moonlit, clear night
imagining a lighthouse
The sea waves against the cliffs.
Sunlit afternoon
