Goose flesh from the strings
The notes gather momentum
Motion on the sea
In the early light,
as the trees move so slowly,
we sit still and tight.
Burning red sunset
paints the sea with soft colours,
as the moon arrives.

Photo – Sven Leveque
Clear cool winter sky
revealing hidden colours
only for my eyes
the clouds burst petals
floating and falling on us
soft raining roses
uninhabited
city without a purpose
sitting sadly still
Duckies congregate
there’s comfort in their quacking
Waddling and talking

Monday morning whirl
sky meets the train station lights
Autumn calms our hearts

a new world for us
created from broken things
a new chance for us

in the autumn wind
fluffy pink flowers blossom
from hidden places
