The mountains held my gaze
They called me about premonitions
things seen too often repeating
A vision of a sleeping dragon
watching and waiting for the time to arrive
A country waiting for the time
The dream doesn’t fade away
It haunts me as I move through the day
taken by intense exhaustion
unaware that sleep has arrived
the computer sits, forgotten
to be taken from the realm of time
one minute, the music is playing
and I can feel the love of my life in the house,
unaware that peace has taken me
too soon from you
a desire for colours on a canvas
squeezing paints into small & large holes
a smearing & mixing of images
chunky & smooth lashings
the insatiable desire to paint & to please herself
abandoning the delusions
clouds form within the roof
gushing & wriggling within different paints
becoming a masterpiece
increasing persimmon light
the azure, grey, and all the blues and blacks
decreasing pink blue pastels
the beginning of a canvas
painting the day with so many different strokes
ending your painting day
increasing inspiration
the momentum of energy takes you on a journey
your canvas collection
Coffee steaming from my favourite porcelain
sitting, listening to the music of the house
You are in the other room de-stressing again
any form of procrastination will help you
I feel the weight of my possessions, my lives
dreaming, whispering words as I write
We dream in different rooms, in different ways
yet we come together despite ourselves
I looked for you
between the hearts and the shapes
of pebbles found discarded on the
colourful sea shore.
Would you be a smooth pebble,
a sharp and blunt pebble,
or a pebble never to be found?
I chose my favourite pebble,
and it was you.
Stillness between the trees
snowflakes fall
Something reminds her of love
sweet memories
Standing in the fresh air of youth
sorrow floods in
Standing in the stillness without you
soft flakes fall
green rain-soaked hills
soft mist masks the reality
walking to find the sky
feeling sadness in each step
grey thoughts turning
becoming a moonless night
amongst the high mist
alone with many thoughts
contemplating endings
feeling a shift
forcing feet to move
a slow descent
o’er the grassy sand dunes,
we went tumbling towards the soft sea.
you and me together,
two carefree lovers looking for free.
rolling until we stop,
out of breath from laughing with the sea.
you and I are running,
never stopping until you can see.
standing on the Skerry,
looking towards you, the azure sea
I don’t want to be free,
I want you to be a part of me.
plants in the office
reaching for the pinnacle
watching the plants die
the boss wants to have a word
the colour green is too much
