A Vision
A terrible heat
the desert covers our land
longing for raindrops
A vision of the sea comes
the feeling of a river
With the Sea
Far from the traffic
We stop thinking about time
Daydreaming away
Now that the sea is so close
No whispering from afar

Alone without the Sea
The sea is too wild
the waves are crashing loudly
so unnatural
You boycott walks to the sea
you sit alone wondering

Footprints in the snow
Followed by a tail and two
paw prints in the snow
we arrive side by side soft
at the forest cathedral
Without a Sound
you lost your lover
a silence hangs in the air
a tear rolling down
you grieve true sorrow alone
tears falling without a sound
Feeling the texture
Rubbing your nose and a leg
Another grey hair
Today is another day
An over-forty birthday
Peeking from the door
An inconspicuous look
A unique perfume
Your love sits oblivious
Dancing with the toilet brush
We felt empowered
sipping coffee in a suits
an office for all
so many unwritten rules
our hopes and dreams start to fade
Lost in the fever for days
as the fever breaks
I hear thunder and smell rain
dewy skin no more
feet set out to find the fan
The clippers vanished
long ago when they were boys.
Slowly their beards grew.
Too cold for the birds to nest,
long enough to keep snowflakes.
