My Love
For I found you in the forest,
you with your ancient arms and legs.
When I found you, there was silence,
for we did not need to speak.
For I found an ancient tree,
and
you taught me so much about love.

My Love
For I found you in the forest,
you with your ancient arms and legs.
When I found you, there was silence,
for we did not need to speak.
For I found an ancient tree,
and
you taught me so much about love.
With the Sea
Far from the traffic
We stop thinking about time
Daydreaming away
Now that the sea is so close
No whispering from afar

A Sleepless Night
Noisy Cockatoos
Vocalising their feelings
Feeling so frazzled
My mind is like a blue screen
The Cockatoo says reboot
Alone without the Sea
The sea is too wild
the waves are crashing loudly
so unnatural
You boycott walks to the sea
you sit alone wondering

The Amber Girl
She was my sunshine girl,
full of light, flowers, and bee stings.
When I saw her in amber,
my eyes were never more opened.
She might be somewhere,
yet she is no longer in my old life.
I think of her often with a smile,
to have been the one with an amber glow by my side.
The Rosewood Tree
Deserted
a lonely tree grows
Tired
waiting by the rubbish
Troubled sleep
awakened
The tree is bleeding
the last urban tree
My Dying Leaves
My dying leaves
the Autumn of my life
the Winter of what might have been
Maroon leaves crack and crumble in my hands,
dead before I touch them
I long for the place I cannot find,
the leaves know of not of this place I cannot find
Neither do I
Was it from the past or the future?
I cannot find it
The curtain may close before I get the chance
The Change
the change
hair arrives in odd places
increasingly invisible outside the house
checking if there are regrets
Children won’t be born of me
was I ever put on this Earth for them?
I decided no, a long time ago.
judgemental humour
useless to a one-track-minded society
my last egg dances away
Livid Haze
Lollipop love notes
loving everyone in the haze
dancing in the pit
Peace, love and
something akin to the rapture
overtakes you
The dance floor
is a place of unbridled feelings
constrained often
In the Livid haze
popping E’s like a 90’s heroine
touching no one
Rain notes
Forest music plays as soft falling rain
A pirouette between the trees
Dancing to the sound of forest music
A glimpse
A vision of elegance, a dream of her
